| | * ASoC: adau1977: Replace direct snd_soc_codec dapm field accessLars-Peter Clausen2015-05-041-2/+3
| |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The dapm field of the snd_soc_codec struct is eventually going to be removed, in preparation for this replace all manual access to codec->dapm.bias_level with snd_soc_codec_get_bias_level() and all remaining access to codec->dapm with snd_soc_codec_get_dapm(). * | ASoC: Move bias level update to the coreLars-Peter Clausen2015-04-271-2/+0
|/ | | | | | | | | All drivers have the same line at the end of the set_bias_level callback to update the bias_level state. Move this update into snd_soc_dapm_force_bias_level() and remove them from the drivers. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* ASoC: improve usage of gpiod APIUwe Kleine-König2015-02-241-12/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since 39b2bbe3d715 (gpio: add flags argument to gpiod_get*() functions) which appeared in v3.17-rc1, the gpiod_get* functions take an additional parameter that allows to specify direction and initial value for output. Simplify drivers accordingly. Also there is an *_optional variant that serves well here. The sematics is slightly changed here by using it as error checking is more strict now: If GPIOLIB is not enabled an error is returned instead of just ignoring the gpio. On one hand this is bad for devices that don't "have" the respective gpio as the driver is failing now. On the other hand there is no means to assert that this gpio is really not needed or if only the driver to control it is not available. The latter is a real reason to fail and so it's defensive to fail here, too. Signed-off-by: Uwe Kleine-König <u.kleine-koenig@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* ASoC: adau1977: Fix truncation warning on 64 bit architecturesMark Brown2014-08-041-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Negating ADAU1977_BLOCK_POWER_SAI_LDO_EN creates an unsigned long constant with all bits set which on 64 bit architectures needs to be truncated to an unsigned int, generating a warning. Add an explicit cast since we know this is OK. Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org> Acked-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de>
* ASoC: Add ADAU1977 CODEC driverLars-Peter Clausen2014-02-191-0/+1018
This patch adds support for the ADAU1977, ADAU1978 and ADAU1979 audio CODEC devices. They are a family of 4-channel differential input audio ADC devices. They can be connected to either a SPI or I2C bus. The driver is implemented in three modules, one main module (adau1977.ko) which implements the device logic and one module each for SPI (adau1977-spi.ko) and I2C (adau1977-i2c.ko) bus access.
