* ASoC: codecs: Drop explicit initialization of struct ↵Uwe Kleine-König2024-05-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | i2c_device_id::driver_data to 0 These drivers don't use the driver_data member of struct i2c_device_id, so don't explicitly initialize this member. This prepares putting driver_data in an anonymous union which requires either no initialization or named designators. But it's also a nice cleanup on its own. * ASoC: cs42l73: Use maple tree register cacheMark Brown2023-06-131-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | The cs42l73 can only support single register read and write operations so does not benefit from block writes. This means it gets no benefit from using the rbtree register cache over the maple tree register cache so convert it to use maple trees instead, it is more modern. * ASoC: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()Uwe Kleine-König2023-05-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | After commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then 03c835f498b5 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from struct i2c_driver. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The i2c probe functions here don't use the id information provided in their second argument, so the single-parameter i2c probe function ("probe_new") can be used instead. * ASoC: cs42l73: Cleanup manual bias level transitionsLars-Peter Clausen2014-09-091-24/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Set the CODEC driver's suspend_bias_off flag rather than manually going to SND_SOC_BIAS_OFF in suspend and SND_SOC_BIAS_STANDBY in resume. This makes the code a bit shorter and cleaner. Since the ASoC core now takes care of setting the bias level to SND_SOC_BIAS_OFF when removing the CODEC there is no need to do it manually anymore either. The manual transition to SND_SOC_BIAS_STANDBY at the end of CODEC probe() can also be removed as the core will automatically do this after the CODEC has been probed.
