* ASoC: Switch back to struct platform_driver::remove()Uwe Kleine-König2024-09-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | After commit 0edb555a65d1 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove() return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for platform drivers. Convert all drivers below sound/soc to use .remove(), with the eventual goal to drop struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As .remove() and .remove_new() have the same prototypes, conversion is done by just changing the structure member name in the driver initializer. * ASoC: img: img-spdif-in: Convert to platform remove callback returning voidUwe Kleine-König2023-03-201-4/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant. * ASoC: img: Migrate to new style legacy DAI naming flagCharles Keepax2022-06-271-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | Change the legacy DAI naming flag from opting in to the new scheme (non_legacy_dai_naming), to opting out of it (legacy_dai_naming). These drivers appear to be on the CPU side of the DAI link and currently uses the legacy naming, so add the new flag. * ASoC: img-spdif-in: Fix runtime PM imbalance on errorDinghao Liu2020-05-271-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | pm_runtime_get_sync() increments the runtime PM usage counter even the call returns an error code. Thus a pairing decrement is needed on the error handling path to keep the counter balanced. * ASoC: img-spdif-in: Add runtime PMEd Blake2017-10-091-14/+65
| | | | | | | | | | Add runtime PM to disable the clock when the device is not in use. The ASoC core takes care of the pm_runtime_get_sync / put calls so we just need to provide runtime_suspend / runtime_resume functions and enable runtime PM. * ASoC: img: explicitly request exclusive reset controlPhilipp Zabel2017-07-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit a53e35db70d1 ("reset: Ensure drivers are explicit when requesting reset lines") started to transition the reset control request API calls to explicitly state whether the driver needs exclusive or shared reset control behavior. Convert all drivers requesting exclusive resets to the explicit API call so the temporary transition helpers can be removed. No functional changes.
