From f04e2be7d9b73a1da7be99a08b3695074e14970c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Larry Finger Date: Mon, 25 Sep 2006 15:33:20 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] bcm43xx: output proper link quality with scans The bcm43xx-softmac driver fails to set two quantities needed for iwlist to compute wireless quality when scanning. This saves on some memmove() calls in the driver and seems like something that belongs in the stack as it can be used by bcm43xx, ipw2200, and zd1211rw I will submit the ipw2200 patch separately as it needs testing. This concept was quite useful while debugging of periodic work was in progress. Now that this routine seems to be working correctly, it is time to simplify the code. This patch keeps the functionality intact, but simplifies the code. Signed-off-by: Larry Finger Signed-off-by: John W.
