* ARM: clps711x: remove extraneous filesArnd Bergmann2016-09-021-147/+0
| | | | | | | | We removed support for board files in clps711x in Linux-4.8, but I accidentally left the unused files behind. Let's kill them off for real this time. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
* cleanup IORESOURCE_CACHEABLE vs ioremap()Dan Williams2015-08-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Quoting Arnd: I was thinking the opposite approach and basically removing all uses of IORESOURCE_CACHEABLE from the kernel. There are only a handful of them.and we can probably replace them all with hardcoded ioremap_cached() calls in the cases they are actually useful. All existing usages of IORESOURCE_CACHEABLE call ioremap() instead of ioremap_nocache() if the resource is cacheable, however ioremap() is uncached by default. Clearly none of the existing usages care about the cacheability. Particularly devm_ioremap_resource() never worked as advertised since it always fell back to plain ioremap(). Clean this up as the new direction we want is to convert ioremap_<type>() usages to memremap(..., flags). * ARM: clps711x: Switch CLPS711X subarch to use cpuidle driverAlexander Shiyan2014-07-071-1/+0
| | | | | | | | This patch removes old support for cpuidle and switches all current users to use new cpuidle driver. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
* ARM: clps711x: Migrate CLPS711X subarch to the new irqchip driverAlexander Shiyan2014-02-281-2/+0
| | | | | | | | This patch remove old code and migrate Cirrus Logic CLPS711X subarch to the new irqchip driver. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>

* ARM: clps711x: Re-add GPIO supportAlexander Shiyan2013-06-121-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | arch_initcall was been removed from GPIO driver, so this patch re-add support for GPIO into boards as platform_device. Since some drivers (spi, nand, etc.) is not support deferred probe, separate machine init calls is used in board code to make proper loading sequence. * ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren2012-12-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg.
