| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Those drivers are part of the legacy SoC camera framework. They're being converted to not use it, but sometimes we're keeping both legacy any new driver. This time, for example, we have two drivers on media with the same name: ov772x. That's bad. So, in order to prevent that to happen, let's prepend the SoC legacy drivers with soc_. | | | | | | | | | | | | | The V4L2 sub-device API does not support the crop default target. A number of drivers apparently still did support this, likely as it was needed by the SoC camera framework. Drop support for the default crop rectaingle in sub-device drivers, and use the bounds rectangle in SoC camera instead. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 0ba2aeb6dab80920edd9cf5b93b1ea4d6913b8f3 increased the internal control ranges to 64 bit, but that caused problems in drivers that use the minimum/maximum/step/default_value control values in a division or modulus operations since not all architectures support those natively. Luckily, in almost all cases it is possible to just cast to 32 bits (the control value is known to be 32 bits, so it is safe to cast). Such chips need to be powered up when being probed. soc-camera handles this by powering chips up in the soc-camera probe implementation. However, this will break with non soc-camera hosts that don't perform the same operations. Fix the problem by pushing the power up/down from the soc-camera core down to individual drivers on a needs basis.
