* cxgb4: fix missing unlock on ETHOFLD desc collect fail pathRafael Mendonca2022-09-261-9/+19
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The label passed to the QDESC_GET for the ETHOFLD TXQ, RXQ, and FLQ, is the 'out' one, which skips the 'out_unlock' label, and thus doesn't unlock the 'uld_mutex' before returning. Additionally, since commit 5148e5950c67 ("cxgb4: add EOTID tracking and software context dump"), the access to these ETHOFLD hardware queues should be protected by the 'mqprio_mutex' instead. | * cxgb4: avoid collecting SGE_QBASE regs during trafficRahul Lakkireddy2021-03-301-4/+19
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Accessing SGE_QBASE_MAP[0-3] and SGE_QBASE_INDEX registers can lead to SGE missing doorbells under heavy traffic. So, only collect them when adapter is idle. Also update the regdump range to skip collecting these registers. * cxgb4: reduce kernel stack usage in cudbg_collect_mem_region()Arnd Bergmann2019-07-131-6/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The cudbg_collect_mem_region() and cudbg_read_fw_mem() both use several hundred kilobytes of kernel stack space. One gets inlined into the other, which causes the stack usage to be combined beyond the warning limit when building with clang: drivers/net/ethernet/chelsio/cxgb4/cudbg_lib.c:1057:12: error: stack frame size of 1244 bytes in function 'cudbg_collect_mem_region' [-Werror,-Wframe-larger-than=] Restructuring cudbg_collect_mem_region() lets clang do the same optimization that gcc does and reuse the stack slots as it can see that the large variables are never used together. A better fix might be to avoid using cudbg_meminfo on the stack altogether, but that requires a larger rewrite.
