* | fbdev: sisfb: use explicitly signed char | Jason A. Donenfeld | 2022-10-24 | 1 | -1/+1 |
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | With char becoming unsigned by default, and with `char` alone being ambiguous and based on architecture, signed chars need to be marked explicitly as such. This fixes warnings like: drivers/video/fbdev/sis/init301.c:3549 SiS_GetCRT2Data301() warn: 'SiS_Pr->SiS_EModeIDTable[ModeIdIndex]->ROMMODEIDX661' is unsigned Cc: Thomas Winischhofer <thomas@winischhofer.net> Cc: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org> Cc: Helge Deller <deller@gmx.de> Cc: linux-usb@vger.kernel.org Cc: linux-fbdev@vger.kernel.org Cc: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org Signed-off-by: Jason A. * | video: move fbdev to drivers/video/fbdev | Tomi Valkeinen | 2014-04-17 | 1 | -0/+551 |
The drivers/video directory is a mess. It contains generic video related files, directories for backlight, console, linux logo, lots of fbdev device drivers, fbdev framework files. Make some order into the chaos by creating drivers/video/fbdev directory, and move all fbdev related files there. No functionality is changed, although I guess it is possible that some subtle Makefile build order related issue could be created by this patch.
